The "Tracks" painting is inspired by the profoundly moving song by Black Diamond. While creating this artwork, I aimed to capture the feelings of helplessness and loss portrayed in the song. I first heard this song live in a garage with around 10-15 people, and I remember how deeply it affected me, as if the sadness pierced my core.
The painting unfolds with the application of purple, blues, teal, and black paints. The interplay of colors and forms is designed to reflect the emotions of helplessness and loss experienced when watching a friend struggle with addiction and lose their battle.
