Atelophobia is the fear of imperfection. Personally, I've experienced this fear. This painting is an exploration of those feelings and the resolve that imperfect is beautiful. Atelophobia was created by applying acrylic paints to canvas. The holes in the canvas are a literal representation of the damage fear can cause.
